No app fixes a motivation problem. But if you genuinely want to focus and keep failing, these tools create friction that helps.

For most people: Cold Turkey (free, hard blocks work). For teams or cross-device: Freedom. For Apple users who want pretty: Opal. For gentle gamification: Forest.

App-based blocking handles the external distractions. But if your brain is foggy, unfocused, or running on caffeine fumes, no amount of app-blocking will save your deep work sessions.
